Deceptive Escorts Handed Sentences for Tricking British Man into Fatal Encounter

Two fake prostitutes who led a 38-year-old man to his death four years ago received their sentences in the Pretoria High Court on Monday.

According to IOL, Lebogang Tshabalala, 29, and 22-year-old Everjoy Sibanda were sentenced alongside their co-accused, Lucky Vincent Motholo, Kagiso Alfread Leleme Mathlabe, and Kamogelo Modise.

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) stated that the women were pretending to be sex workers near a petrol station in Bokfontein, luring potential clients while the three men hid in nearby bushes.

According to NPA spokesperson Lumka Mahanjana, on October 27, 2020, the victim approached the women, believing they were prostitutes, leading to a tragic sequence of events.
