Lesufi calls on Eskom to write off the municipal debt

The power utility, Eskom, has announced that it will implement Stage 6 load shedding in a rotational pattern until further notice.

As reported by Jacaranda FM, Eskom made this decision after Unit 2 at Koeberg Power Station tripped on Saturday morning. The cause of the trip is yet to be determined, and Eskom’s interim spokesperson, Daphne Mokoena, has stated that they cannot comment on it at this stage.

Eskom will keep the public informed of any significant changes regarding the situation.
