Momentum has launched the sixth season of its #SheOwnsHerSuccess campaign, themed My Success by Design.

The campaign unveiled at an Aurum in Sandton event, aims to empower women in South Africa to define and achieve success on their terms.

Recognising women’s challenges and biases in their professional and personal journeys, Momentum seeks to spark conversations and drive change through data-driven insights.

The event was hosted by Olwethu Leshabane and featured Harvard Professor Anita Elberse, who discussed the company’s commitment to supporting female athletes as part of its campaign.

Elberse will conduct a masterclass for South Africa’s top female athletes, sharing valuable case studies on how they can maximise their potential.

Qhawekazi Mdikane, executive head of Momentum Brand Marketing, said that women have immense potential to excel in their careers, communities, and lives.

“It is time to challenge outdated narratives and create environments where women can thrive and inspire future generations.”

Momentum will also host the Women Who Make Moves in Sport Summit as part of the campaign.

This event aims to equip female athletes with practical tools for managing their brands, securing sponsorships, and making the most of their sports careers.
