During a media briefing, Nciza expressed concerns about illegal employment practices and stressed the importance of creating opportunities for South African citizens. He called upon the private sector to cooperate in establishing these quotas and underlined that the ANC did not intend to promote xenophobia but to ensure fair employment practices prioritising South African workers.

The party also commended the Gauteng government’s efforts to combat unemployment through programs like Nasi iSpani. It urged the private sector to contribute to these efforts, particularly in hospitality-related industries.
