Emperors Palace Renews Partnership with Titans Cricket

Emperors Palace Casino Convention Resort, part of Peermont, has announced extending its partnership with the Titans cricket franchise based in Centurion, South Africa. The renewed partnership designates Emperors Palace as the Titans franchise’s official accommodation and entertainment partner until 2026.

The Titans cricket franchise is renowned for its success in South African domestic cricket, boasting victories in the Sunfoil Series, Momentum One Day Cup, and T20 Challenge on multiple occasions. It has also nurtured and showcased some of South Africa’s cricketing talents, including Faf du Plessis, AB de Villiers, Chris Morris, Farhaan Behardien, Quinton de Kock, Dean Elgar, Tabraiz Shamsi, Aiden Markram, Lungi Ngidi, and Junior Dala.

Clive Tavener, the executive of Emperors Palace, expressed the resort’s excitement about continuing the partnership with the Titans. He likened the Titans to ancient Roman gladiators, emphasising their warrior spirit and pursuit of victory.

Dr Jacques Faul, CEO of Titans Cricket, expressed gratitude for Emperors Palace’s consistent support and contribution to the franchise’s success. The partnership, which began in 2016, reflects a strong and cordial relationship between the two parties.

Both Emperors Palace and Titans Cricket are committed to the long-term success of their partnership, with Emperors Palace pledging support for the upcoming season and Titans Cricket emphasising their pride in establishing enduring relationships.

The South African domestic cricket season commenced on September 16, with the Titans playing their opening match against the Paarl Rocks on September 23.
