Elon Musk swore at advertisers on X. He declared, “Go f*** yourself,” while appearing at The New York Times’ DealBook event.

According to Engadget, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO, facing potential financial repercussions for X amid controversies, repeated the sentiment multiple times, highlighting his disdain for advertisers attempting to influence him through economic means.

Musk, who recently boosted an antisemitic conspiracy theory, remained unapologetic, stating, “Don’t advertise. If somebody is going to try and blackmail me with advertising, blackmail me with money? Go f*** yourself. Is that clear? I hope it is.”

Even in an apparent reference to Disney CEO Bob Iger, Musk maintained his stance, responding to Disney’s decision to pull ads by saying, “Hey Bob.” Despite denying antisemitism, Musk regretted engaging with a controversial tweet that led to another wave of advertisers distancing themselves from X.

The platform’s CEO, Linda Yaccarino, reportedly sat “stone-faced” during Musk’s vehement tirade.
