Easter load-shedding schedule: Find out when you’ll be in the dark

Eskom will implement lower stages of load-shedding over the Easter weekend in South Africa, with stage 1 during the day and stage 3 at night, subject to change depending on generating capacity. Easter Sunday and Monday will experience a break from load-shedding during the day, but stage 3 will be implemented from 4 pm as reported by the Times Live.

The national state of disaster on electricity supply constraints was terminated on Thursday, and the government has adopted regulations to mitigate the impact of severe load-shedding and prevent the escalation of electricity supply constraints.

The regulations aim to fix Eskom, improve existing supply, and accelerate private investment in generation capacity.
