Elon Musk Reveals DOGE Staff Face Daily Death Threats Amid Federal Job Cuts Backlash

Published

on

Elon Musk has revealed that employees at his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) are receiving daily death threats amid growing backlash over massive federal job cuts. The Tesla CEO, speaking during a White House cabinet meeting, faced criticism for his aggressive downsizing of the U.S. government, which has already led to tens of thousands of public sector layoffs.

The threats come as Tesla showrooms, charging stations, and even privately owned cars have been targeted in attacks—prompting FBI Director Kash Patel to label the incidents as “domestic terrorism.” In a post on X, Patel warned that those responsible would be “pursued, caught, and brought to justice.”

Protests and Violent Clashes Escalate

Over the weekend, Tesla dealerships across North America saw demonstrations, with clashes between supporters and critics of Musk’s policies. In one incident, a driver plowed into protesters outside a Florida showroom, though no injuries were reported. Meanwhile, police in Austin, Texas, are investigating incendiary devices found at a dealership.

At the White House meeting, President Donald Trump defended the cuts, acknowledging they were unpopular but necessary. “It’s something that has to be done,” he said, leaving future reductions to department leaders—though Musk could step in if cuts are deemed insufficient.

Fraudulent Contracts and Controversial Claims

Musk, wearing a red “Trump Was Right About Everything” hat, claimed his team had uncovered “many fraudulent contracts,” including a Small Business Association loan allegedly granted to a “very precocious” baby.

Meanwhile, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa slammed Musk’s claims of “white genocide” in the country, calling them a “completely false narrative.” Musk, born in South Africa, has repeatedly accused the government of anti-white policies.

As tensions rise, the safety of DOGE employees remains a pressing concern, with Musk’s restructuring efforts continuing to spark outrage—and now, violent threats.
