DA Bracken branch celebrates local heroes on Heritage Day
The DA Bracken Branch celebrated Heritage Day in a unique and meaningful way this year – planting trees at Brackendowns Police Station on September 24.
According to Ward 38 Clr Thavha Maifala-Masebe, this gesture was a heartfelt tribute to the police officers who work tirelessly in a challenging environment, and it underscored the DA’s commitment to fostering positive relationships within the community.
They are working closely with the Brackendowns CPF to build a cohesive community that tackles societal issues together. This collaboration also highlighted the importance of teamwork in addressing local concerns.
The day’s events were made even more vibrant by the Brackendowns CPF Potjie Competition, which brought people together in a celebration of South African culture and heritage.
With support from security companies, the event showcased the power of partnerships in driving positive change.
By working diligently to serve residents and partnering with community stakeholders, they reaffirm their commitment to ensuring safety and well-being in the area.
