In the soccer world, Curro Midrand Halfway Gardens learner Siyabonga Khumalo is creating a stir, and his recent accomplishments have his school brimming with excitement to share the news. Siyabonga seized a remarkable opportunity during last year’s December school break, journeying to Germany alongside 21 other soccer players spanning various age groups.

Throughout their time in Germany, they ventured to different football clubs, where they were privileged to receive guidance from esteemed coaches and players. Despite being the youngest member of the cohort, Siyabonga’s extraordinary skills and talent left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.
