Late musician Costa Titch’s mother, Lara Langveld, has expressed her gratitude to the people in Nigeria who have shown support for her son.
The 28-year-old rapper from Mpumalanga tragically passed away while performing at the Ultra Music Festival in Johannesburg on March 11.
Lara Langveld, who now manages Costa Titch’s social media accounts, recently took to the timeline to convey her appreciation to those who love her son’s career as reported by the Times Live.
In a heartfelt message, she addressed the people of Nigeria: “Many thanks for all the love and support for my son. You all have a special place in my heart. I was blessed to spend some time in your country, so this means so much to me.”

American rapper Swae Lee, who shares Nigerian heritage, recently shared a video of himself dancing to Costa Titch’s popular song featuring Akon, “Big Flexa.”
Expressing his interest in the amapiano genre, Swae Lee penned a tribute to the late star on his timeline: “Respect to the creators of amapiano and RIP Costa Titch, so much dope sh*t out there, man. I’m excited for this next wave.”
