Masuku launched the 2024 Ekurhuleni Easter Season Campaign yesterday, underscoring the municipality’s commitment to ensuring a safer holiday period this year. Acknowledging Ekurhuleni’s pivotal role as a central transportation hub, Masuku highlighted the necessity for responsible driving behaviour, especially given the city’s connectivity to other provinces and the presence of OR Tambo International Airport.

Ekuruhleni Executive Mayor Sivuyile Ngodwana also pleads with motorists to avoid driving under the influence of alcohol, further underlining the importance of road safety during this busy travel period.
