Three individuals were apprehended in Chamdor Industrial, Krugersdorp, following an incident of alleged hijacking and kidnapping in Centurion on the morning of October 1.

Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, a police spokesperson, reported that two sergeants from Krugersdorp noticed a suspicious vehicle while en route from Leratong Hospital in Krugersdorp.

Upon attempting to stop the vehicle, one of the occupants brandished a firearm at the officers, prompting a response from the police.

Nevhuhulwi stated, “The officers fired back, causing the suspects to halt their vehicle.”

Following a search of the vehicle, law enforcement discovered two men in the front seats and one individual with bound hands in the back.

<p"It was later revealed that the victim had been hijacked and abducted earlier in the day in Centurion."

Preliminary inquiries led authorities to the third suspect in Naledi, who was found in possession of the victim’s hijacked bakkie.
