Shiva Shakti Mandir celebrates Diwali with Festival of Lights at Glenvista High

Shiva Shakti Mandir in Liefde en Vrede is excited to present their upcoming celebration of the Festival of Lights, Diwali on November 2 and 3 at Glenvista High School, in Mulbarton.

The event will start at 18:00 and end at noon on both days.

Shiva Shakti Mandir, a non-profit company, has experienced remarkable growth since 2023, serving a rapidly expanding congregation of diverse Hindu cultures, from the Johannesburg South area.

They are dedicated to promoting Hinduism and Sanathan Dharma, which are duties of goodwill.

The Shiva Shakti Mandir aims to celebrate the festival of lights, which spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil and hope over despair.

Expect an evening filled with vibrant cultural performances, traditional music, and dance. The evening will culminate in a spectacular display of lights with a fireworks display. Thereafter attendees can listen to the great music that the DJs will be playing.

There will be a car show on September 3 where you can enjoy a showcase of Johannesburg’s best classic and modern cars.
