Educational Day for Joburg South Residents at Bushkoppies Water Plant

Counsellor Faeeza Chame of Ward 57, in collaboration with Joburg Water, organised an informative visit for residents of Johannesburg South to the Bushkoppies water plant. The objective was to educate them about the water purification and distribution process in light of the ongoing water shortages affecting the area.

Chame commented, “It was a great experience and eye-opener for residents who had no idea how the water purification process works. The event concluded with a scrumptious lunch, and we plan to make such educational sessions a regular occurrence to inform our residents. The Joburg Water staff proved helpful in addressing questions and concerns.”
