Bester’s mother is afraid for her safety

The mother of Thabo Bester, the convicted Facebook rapist, expressed concern for her safety, claiming she has been receiving threats since revealing her connection to him. Two additional individuals are scheduled to appear in a Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court in the Free State for allegedly aiding Bester in his escape from prison as reported by SABC News.

South African authorities are currently coordinating the return of Bester and his partner from Arusha, Tanzania.

The mother is afraid to see either of them and is disturbed by the unfolding events.

She says she is shocked and scared, as a mother, hearing about the accusations against her son.
