A woman in Duvha Park was hijacked and sexually assaulted

A woman in Duvha Park was hijacked and sexually assaulted in Duvha Park last week. The 33-year-old woman was reversing her vehicle from her place of residence when an unknown male wearing a mask approached her, threatened her with a firearm, and instructed her to get inside the car.

Despite the victim’s screams for help, the suspect forced her into the passenger seat. After driving approximately one kilometre, the suspect asked if she had a television in her house.

It is believed the suspect later returned to the victim’s house, stole the TV, and left it behind when it could not fit into the car. The suspect then drove to Pretoria and instructed the victim to throw all of her documents out of the car’s window while it was moving.

The suspect later made a stop at a bush, where he instructed the victim to undress and sexually assaulted her. The suspect fled the scene with the victim’s car, leaving her stranded in the bush on Tuesday, May 2.
