Tragic N1 Accident Leaves Several Dead and Injured
On Tuesday, a crash occurred on the N1 north between Johannesburg and Pretoria, resulting in the death of three individuals and injuries to six others.
According to Tshwane emergency services’ deputy chief Charles Mabaso, the accident involved two cars and occurred just after the Olifantsfontein off-ramp.
SowetanLIVE also reported that Mabaso stated that all injured patients received critical care from various emergency medical services on the scene.
While lanes on that side of the highway have since been closed, the cause of the accident is still unknown, and law enforcement will continue to investigate.
