Four suspects arrested for Yeoville murder after multi-agency manhunt
Four men suspected of being involved in a murder in Yeoville have been arrested following a multi-agency operation led by the Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD).
The suspects had reportedly been evading authorities for several days after the fatal incident earlier this week. Their arrest brings a significant breakthrough in the case.

According to JMPD spokesperson Xolani Fihla, the arrests were the result of joint efforts between various law enforcement teams in Johannesburg. He praised the work of the Tactical Response Unit (TRU) and the IIOC Monitoring and Surveillance team for tracking down the suspects.
“The JMPD commends the swift action and dedication of the TRU and the IIOC Monitoring and Surveillance team in bringing these suspects to justice,” said Fihla. “The investigation is ongoing, and we are working closely with the SAPS to ensure a thorough prosecution.”
The suspects are expected to appear in court soon as investigations continue.
