In a significant development, R3.6 million in cash was discovered hidden in a vehicle during police raids on illegal drug laboratories in Mpumalanga. The discovery was revealed by Police Minister Senzo Mchunu during his visit to Standerton over the weekend, following a series of raids that took place last week.

The operation was triggered by a tip-off about suspicious activity in the area, leading authorities to target several clandestine laboratories. According to Mchunu, the raids led to the arrest of nine suspects, with further investigations uncovering multiple drug labs linked to the operation.
