Johannesburg Water Announces Gradual Improvement in Water Supply System
Johannesburg Water has shared promising news about the gradual recovery of its water supply system, revealing that several areas in the city are seeing significant improvements.
According to the utility, approximately eleven of its systems have shown full recovery, including areas such as Linden, Waterval, and Quellerina.
Despite the positive developments, Johannesburg Water highlighted that some regions continue to face challenges. As a result, water tower and reservoir levels in these areas remain lower than desired.
“To support ongoing recovery efforts and improve the affected reservoirs and towers, technical interventions by both Rand Water and Johannesburg Water’s technical teams are being implemented,” said Nombuso Shabalala, a spokesperson for Johannesburg Water.
