City of Joburg Invites Public Comments on Land Use Scheme By-Law

The City of Johannesburg has called on residents to submit written comments on a draft by-law related to the Land Use Scheme 2018.

This scheme, adopted under the City of Johannesburg Municipal Planning By-law of 2016 (amended in 2023), outlines regulations for land use and development within the municipality’s jurisdiction. It also aligns with the City’s Municipal Spatial Development Framework.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, 7 March 2025.
