The Titans Maintain Control of Their Fate in T20 Challenge Tournament

  • After three wins and two losses, the Titans are currently in third place on the log in the local T20 Challenge tournament.
  • All teams completed their first five games over the past weekend.

On Tuesday evening (October 15), the Titans will play at home against North West, followed by their last game against the Warriors at St George’s Park in Port Elizabeth on Saturday (October 19).

Their opponent for Tuesday’s game, North West, is in second place on the log with 17 league points, two points ahead of the Titans.

If the Titans secure a win, they can overtake North West in the standings. The Warriors, currently in sixth place with only one win, will also be targeted for a victory by the Titans.

If the Titans win their last two league games, they will be hoping for the Lions to lose in their upcoming matches against WP and North West, giving the Titans a chance to finish first on the log.

Playoff Opportunities

The top two teams on the log will have the chance to play in the first qualifying match on October 22, with the winner advancing directly to the final. The losing team will face off against the winner of the elimination match between the third and fourth-placed teams on the log.

After a recent impressive victory against Boland, the Titans faced the Knights of Bloemfontein on their home ground, falling short by 33 runs despite efforts from Donovan Ferreira, Sibonelo Makhanya, and Rivaldo Moonsamy.
