Alzu Tour De Farm MTB and Festival Returns
On November 2, the iconic Alzu Tour De Farm MTB and Festival will make its grand return in Mpumalanga.
Between 1,000 and 1,500 cyclists are expected to participate in the event, making it one of the most popular races in the region.
Event Details
- Entry fees:
- R400 for the 120km Ultra Marathon
- R350 for the 70km Marathon
- R280 for the 40km Half Marathon
- R200 for the 15km Fun Race
- Live entertainment featuring Irene-Louise van Wyk, FATMAN, and JanJanJan
- Tickets to the festival show included in all race entries
- Separate tickets available for performances at R60 per adult, children under 12 enter for free
Registration Information
Online entries for the races close on October 28 at 09:00. Manual entries available at GoCycles from October 31 to November 1, with late registration possible on the day of the race with additional fees.
Prizes and Beneficiaries
- Cash prizes up to R20,000 for the winner of the 70km Marathon
- All cyclists finishing the race will receive a medal
The event aims to raise funds to support disadvantaged youngsters in completing their schooling, with beneficiaries including Middelburg Primary School, Hoërskool Middelburg, and the Middelburg Care Village.
