St Declan’s School for Boys U11 Cricket Team Maintains Winning Streak

St Declan’s School for Boys’ U11 cricket team continues to demonstrate their competitive spirit as they strive to uphold their winning streak. In a recent match against Germiston-based Colin Mann Primary School, the all-boys school scored 158/5 in 20 overs, while their opponents managed 88 all out in the same number of overs.

After a decisive victory by 70 runs, St Declan’s emerged victorious, claiming the title of the 2024 South East Rand Champions.

“St Declan’s School for Boys has shown significant progress in its sporting endeavors this year. We anticipate further cricket matches in the upcoming term, as we engage in the Edenvale Schools League. Our school’s sports development continues to strengthen,” remarked Christopher Palmer, the Head of Sport at St Declan’s.

Congratulations were extended to the U11 cricket team and their coach, Gavin Dean, for their outstanding performance.
