Southern Stars Baseball Club prep for new season
The Southern Stars Baseball Club commenced the season with a spectacular junior baseball open day on September 6. It was a day filled with camaraderie, enjoyment, and, of course, baseball.
Children spanning from five to 18 years old, both boys and girls, relished the opportunity to explore the delights of baseball at the open day.
They were educated on the game’s regulations, engaged in skill drills, and, most importantly, relished a fantastic time.
Shaun Niemand from Southern Stars expressed immense delight at witnessing numerous familiar faces from previous seasons.
Their passion for the sport was unmistakable, and they warmly welcomed new players who joined the Stars group.
“At Southern Stars, we are thrilled to reveal the upcoming junior season, scheduled from September to March. Matches will commence towards the end of September, promising riveting competition,” Shaun announced.
If you are keen on joining Southern Stars and becoming part of a supportive, fun-loving team, they are eager to hear from you. Training sessions are conducted every Tuesday and Friday at 17:00 at the Alberton Football Club.
“We are eagerly anticipating your presence on the field. Let’s ensure this forthcoming season is a grand slam,” Shaun conveyed.
