The Montrose Primary School U11 Night Challenge tournament returned to Parkmore, drawing a significant turnout from the community to support Sandton’s young athletes in cricket and netball.

### Cricket Tournament Highlights
– 12 teams competed for the top spot on the first week scoreboard.
– Participating schools included Montrose, Dainfern, HeronBridge, Rivonia, Bryneven, Grayston, Redhill, Crawford International Sandton, and Lonehill Primary Schools.
– Developmental teams Alexandra Hub and KPT CGL Lions also joined the field.

### Netball Tournament Involvement
– The same primary schools participated in the netball tournament.
– Additional teams from Chippa Mavericks, Reddam, Crawford Fourways, and Steyn City took to the courts.

In cricket, Montrose claimed the top spot in pool one, with Bryandale, Rivonia, and Bryneven Primary Schools also finishing at the top of their respective logs. Bryandale secured first place after the first evening, followed by Chippa Mavericks and Redhill in second and third positions, respectively.

The U11 Night Challenge tournament kicked off in a festive atmosphere, featuring stilt-walking, fire-breathing, dancing, and face painting at the lively opening ceremony on October 10. The event provided a family-oriented way to wrap up the week for the community.
