Former Springbok Andries ‘Boeboes’ Coetzee to Lead Rugby Clinics in Middelburg
Former Springbok and Lions rugby star, Andries ‘Boeboes’ Coetzee, alongside Lions players Ruan and JP Smith, is set to conduct rugby clinics in Middelburg as part of their Eight7Rugby initiative. The trio, with a collective rugby career spanning over three decades, aims to give back to the community and nurture the next generation of rugby talent.
Clinics for Primary and High Schools
The clinics will be divided into sessions focusing on primary and high schools. Various schools in Middelburg will be visited this week to finalize the schedule for the clinics, which are planned to be held at the Kees Taljaard Stadium as a neutral venue for all participating schools.
Eight7Rugby: Fostering Rugby Development
Eight7Rugby was established with the primary goal of supporting the development of young rugby players in South Africa while sharing the players’ deep-rooted passion for the sport. The initiative is geared towards fostering and enhancing the skills of aspiring rugby players in the region.
