Tenpin Bowling Interprovincial Championship Comes to Pretoria

Tenpin Bowling, typically seen as a family recreational activity, is taken to a competitive level by some enthusiasts who participate in representative tournaments.

Exciting Event for Tenpin Bowling Enthusiasts

The Tenpin Bowling Association of South Africa (TBASA) is set to host an Interprovincial Championship at The Fun Company, Menlyn Mall in Pretoria. The championship will run from Sunday, October 13th to Friday, October 18th.

Competition Details

  • The tournament begins with the official opening on Sunday, October 13th, at 12:00, to be conducted by Tshwane Sports Council President, Winston Meyer.
  • Six provinces will be represented at the event: Eastern Gauteng, Central Gauteng, Midlands, KwaZulu Natal, Eastern Province, and host province Gauteng North.
  • Each province will have 18 team members competing in three divisions: Gold (open division), Senior (players over 50), and Silver (Handicap division).
  • Players will participate in singles, doubles, trios, and team events throughout the week.

Showcasing Top Talent

The championship will feature the best bowlers in the country, aged 16 to 70, including those who have represented South Africa internationally.
