Gauteng Residents Advised to Prepare for Severe Thunderstorms
The South African Weather Service has warned about thunderstorms in Gauteng in the coming week. According to SAPeople, this weather will also occur in Limpopo and Mpumalanga.
This weather will likely develop during the first spring thunderstorms. Following a hot and windy Saturday in many areas of Gauteng, temperatures will cool down on Sunday and into the upcoming week.

The SA Weather Service has issued a Yellow Level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms, valid until 23:00 SAST on October 15, 2023, with potential impacts including strong winds, heavy rain leading to flooding, hail, and lightning.
Johannesburg expects a high of 17°C with isolated thunderstorms, while Pretoria is forecasted to reach a maximum of 19°C.
On Monday, heavy rain is predicted in various northern regions. Temperatures will drop into the low teens. Motorists should exercise caution during wet weather conditions.
