Hamburgers and zucchini fries made in the air fryer

Published

on

The innovative air fryer has revolutionized home cooking, offering a guilt-free way to enjoy classic fried dishes. By circulating hot air, it achieves a desirable crispy exterior while retaining the juicy tenderness inside, all without the excess oil and calories typical of traditional frying methods.

For homemade hamburgers, the air fryer ensures consistently well-cooked patties, sealing in juices and providing a delectable charred finish reminiscent of grilled burgers. Additionally, air-fried zucchini fries offer a nutritious, lower-carb alternative to traditional fries, without sacrificing taste. The following recipe is courtesy of Instant Pot.

Ingredients

Burger patties:
500g lean mince
2 Eggs
1/3 Cup whole-wheat bread crumbs.
1 Green apple, grated (secret ingredient).
1 Handful fresh herbs, such as basil, finely chopped.
½ tsp of salt & pepper each
2 Garlic cloves, crushed.
