Keyshia Cole Pulls Out of South African Tour, Citing Scheduling Conflicts

Published

on

R&B fans in South Africa have been left heartbroken after the official cancellation of Keyshia Cole’s much-anticipated concert tour. The “Heaven Sent” hitmaker was set to perform in the country following a string of postponements — but now the dream is officially over.

A Timeline of Postponements

Initially scheduled for September 2024, the “Keyshia Cole – Live in South Africa” tour had already faced numerous setbacks. First postponed to January 2025 due to “unforeseen circumstances”, the date was then moved to April following a fire in Los Angeles that impacted the singer’s schedule.

Fans were optimistic when Cole posted a confirmation video to her social media channels, but that excitement has now turned into disappointment.

Promoters Break the News

In a heartfelt statement, Glen21 Entertainment — the official concert promoter — confirmed that the event would no longer go ahead.

“We are incredibly disappointed to let fans down once again,” the statement read. “South African fans have shown immense excitement and loyalty, and we were truly looking forward to bringing Keyshia Cole to our shores.”

Glen21 added that the latest postponement request from Cole’s team made it impossible to plan another date.

Refunds for Ticket Holders

Fans who purchased tickets have been assured they will receive full refunds. TicketPro, the official ticketing platform, will be contacting all buyers directly with instructions.

Those looking for more information are encouraged to email info@ticketpro.co.za for further assistance.

A Disappointing End for R&B Fans

Although the news is undoubtedly a blow, Glen21 extended its gratitude to fans for their patience throughout the ongoing delays.

While Keyshia Cole may not be performing in South Africa this year, her fans continue to support her music and hold out hope that one day, she’ll make it to a local stage.
