Is Blake Lively the Problem? Controversy with Justin Baldoni and Alleged Gossip Girl Behavior Sparks Debate

Published

Blake Lively, famed for her role as Serena van der Woodsen on Gossip Girl, is facing serious accusations from former extra Rossella Rago, who claims that Lively’s on-set behavior was “horrendous.” The 37-year-old host of Cooking with Nonna recently shared her unsettling experiences in a TikTok video, shedding light on the actress’s allegedly unpleasant attitude during their time on set.

Shocking Accusations of Poor Behavior

According to Rago, Lively’s actions on the Gossip Girl set included a lack of interaction with extras, often displaying what Rago described as a dismissive and “unpleasant” attitude. “She would burp and fart in the middle of set – and act like we were lucky to be smelling her farts,” Rago claimed, further adding that Lively’s behavior was far from professional.

Rago, who worked as a stand-in for six seasons of Gossip Girl, also accused Lively of treating co-star Justin Baldoni poorly, even allegedly throwing him “under the bus” during filming.

“I was a stand-in on movies and TV shows for 15 years and I worked on the show Gossip Girl on and off for all six seasons. I’m going to attest that Blake Lively is horrendous,” said Rago. “I’m sorry to burst your bubble, she’s horrendous.”

The ‘Nepo Baby’ Backlash

Rago also expressed her belief that Lively’s sense of entitlement may have been influenced by her early rise to fame. “She was a nepo baby, and when she was 19, the whole world was blowing smoke up her a**,” Rago explained. “She couldn’t handle that people didn’t frigging like her.” Rago further claimed that Lively’s attitude on set often conveyed a sense of superiority, stating that it felt as if the actress believed “Don’t touch me, you’re beneath me.”

Despite these allegations, Rago pointed out that Lively did try to show kindness at times, but even that appeared forced. “She had to really make an effort to be nice to me,” she recalled.

Lively’s Legal Battle with Justin Baldoni

In addition to the accusations from Rago, Lively’s legal troubles have been escalating, particularly her ongoing legal battle with co-star Justin Baldoni. The two have been involved in a lawsuit involving allegations of sexual harassment and a smear campaign following the release of their film It Ends With Us last August.

Since then, both Lively and Baldoni have filed counterclaims against each other, with Lively suing Baldoni for harassment and Baldoni responding with a lawsuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and Lively’s publicist, Leslie Sloane. The matter is now set to go to trial in New York in March 2026.

A Dramatic New Twist

The situation took another dramatic turn when TMZ released a nearly seven-minute-long audio clip of Baldoni allegedly apologizing to Lively following a heated argument over a pivotal scene in It Ends With Us. In the voice message, Baldoni admits to his mistakes and expresses remorse: “I’m really sorry. I f****ed up,” he says. “I’m a very flawed man, as my wife will attest. I will always apologize and find my way back to centre.”

As the drama unfolds, both Lively’s reputation and her legal battles continue to capture the public’s attention. With the trial approaching, many are watching closely to see how these ongoing issues will affect Lively’s career and public image.
