On Apple Music, it peaked at No. 10 in South Africa and topped the country music chart. Streaming platforms have embraced the song, featuring it on major playlists worldwide. These include Spotify’s New Music Friday in Australia and New Zealand, Fresh Country, and All New Country (Global).
As local genres like amapiano and Afrobeats gain popularity, country music is also finding its place in Mzansi. This trend highlights music’s universal appeal. Recently, the Grammy Award-winning Zac Brown Band made their South African debut at the country music festival. The event showcased top artists, including Kip Moore, Darius Rucker, Cam, and Morgan Wade.
