EFF Supporter’s Death Confirmed at Birthday Rally, Police Reports Confirm

An investigation is underway by Gauteng police into the death at the EFF birthday rally of an EFF supporter who allegedly fell from level five to level two of FNB Stadium in Johannesburg during the party’s 10th-anniversary rally on Saturday.

The stadium, with a capacity of 95,000, was filled beyond its limits during the event, as reported by Jacaranda FM. According to police spokesperson Mavela Masondo, the man was dancing when the incident occurred.

The EFF has acknowledged the incident and expressed its condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased, vowing to support the family and take care of all funeral arrangements in honour of his life and his participation in the historic celebration of their movement.
