Nicol Road Reopens After Reconstruction
In a significant development for the residents of Bedfordview, Executive Mayor Cllr Sivuyile Ngodwana, alongside Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Roads, Stormwater, Transport, and Planning Cllr Andile Mngwevu, have formally reopened Nicol Road. The road had been closed for the past two months due to structural damage, but after extensive reconstruction efforts, it is now ready to serve the community once again as reported by the City of Ekurhuleni.

The reconstruction project for Nicol Road cost R5 million, a substantial investment to improve the road’s infrastructure and overall usability.
