Police Make a Third Arrest in Connection to Recent Truck Torchings in Mpumalanga
The police have made a third arrest connected to the truck torchings in Mpumalanga, providing a glimmer of hope for the trucking industry. The authorities apprehended the suspect in Emalahleni on Thursday night, according to eNCA. All the suspects will be in court this coming Monday.
Perpetrators set alight over 20 trucks in three provinces since last week. This crime has severely disrupted the industry. Police Minister Bheki Cele has confirmed that the police have identified 12 persons of interest in connection with the attacks.
