Francois van Coke Releases New Music Video ‘As Ek Weg Is’ ft. Tasché
Francois van Coke is building anticipation for his En Vriende II EP by releasing each track one by one, leading up to his highly anticipated Francois van Coke & Vriende 2023 concerts. The concerts are set to take place on August 18 at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria and on September 16 at the Grand Arena in Cape Town as reported by Underground Press.
The second single from the EP, titled ‘As Ek Weg Is’ (When I’m Gone), features a collaboration between Francois and his former The Voice SA protégé, Tasché. Described as a heartfelt love song from the afterlife, it is expected to captivate audiences at concerts and possibly become a popular choice for weddings.
The En Vriende II EP also includes collaborations with artists such as Loufi, Zaan Sonnekus, Neon Dreams, and Hanu de Jong from The Narrow. The first single released from the EP was ‘Almal Baklei’ featuring Zaan Sonnekus.

Fans attending the Francois van Coke & Vriende 2023 concerts can look forward to experiencing the new music live and enjoying performances from a diverse lineup of established and emerging artists. The lineup includes Spoegwolf (PTA only), Neon Dreams, Fokofpolisiekar, Elandré (CT only), Zaan Sonnekus, Early B (PTA only), Loufi, Tasché, Jack Parow, Van Pletzen (CT only), Hunter Kennedy, Van Coke Kartel, and Die Heuwels Fantasties. The event will be powered by Francois’ unstoppable band, Die Gevaar.
