Senior Citizen Taken Hostage and Robbed in Lenasia

Two masked men reportedly kidnapped an elderly driver and his assistant in Vlakfontein, Lenasia South, on Friday and drove off with an undisclosed sum of money. The suspects are said to have called the victim’s loved ones and demanded ransom before releasing him. Police were quick to respond after being notified of the incident and began searching for the perpetrators.

Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the kidnapping and armed robbery of a man. The victim was found safe and sound, and the three suspects were arrested on charges of kidnapping and armed robbery. The car found in the yard was seized because it is believed to have been used in the abduction. On Monday, all three suspects are scheduled to appear before a magistrate in Lenasia.
