Kagiso Police Seek Wanted Man Following R10 Pool Game Turns To Murder
The Kagiso Police are appealing to community members for their assistance locating a man suspected of murdering a 39-year-old individual during a pool game. According to Captain Solomon Sibiya, spokesperson for the Kagiso Police, the incident occurred at Mugabe’s Tavern in Rietvallei Extension 3 at approximately 06:00pm on Monday, April 3.
The victim was engaged in a pool game with the unidentified male suspect. “They had reportedly placed a R10 bet on the game, which the victim won. However, the suspect became enraged and demanded his R10 back.
In a fit of anger, he brandished a knife and stabbed the victim in the upper body,” explained Sibiya.
Following the attack, the victim fled the tavern but tragically succumbed to his injuries after collapsing. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
“The suspect, who goes by the name Mafutha or Mafra, has since evaded capture,” Sibiya stated.
