Radio legend Jeremy Mansfield dies at age 59

Radio legend Jeremy Mansfield passed after a four-year battle with liver cancer. He was 59.

The radio personality announced in January that he had been diagnosed with liver cancer.

According to News24, he announced in August on a Facebook post that his prognosis was terminal. However, he vowed to “have as much fun as possible in the time I have left and fulfil as many of my big and small bucket list goals as possible.”

Two months after the terminal diagnosis, Mansfield made his first social media appearance to thank fans for their support. In addition, he updated his health, stating that he experiences “up and down” days but that the day video was recorded as an “up” day.
