Award-winning Alfa Romeo Giulia Triumphs Again as Best Cars 2023 Midsize Import Winner

The Alfa Romeo Giulia has been crowned the winner of the Best Cars 2023 midsize import category, with over 100,000 votes cast in its favour, according to Auto Motor and Sport magazine. The Alfisti community, known for their love of Alfa Romeo cars, were thrilled to see their favourite car win once again.

The Best Cars 2023 competition featured 422 vehicles in 13 categories, with more than 100,000 people casting their votes. The Alfa Romeo Tonale, a new Italian compact SUV, missed out on victory in its category by just 0.2%. However, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio still managed to secure a place in the top three in the large SUV importers category.

Niccolò Biagioli, the brand director of Alfa Romeo in Germany, expressed his gratitude for the readers of Auto Motor and Sport who voted for the Alfa Romeo Giulia. The Alfa Romeo Giulia has won several awards in the past, including the prestigious Motor Trend Car of the Year award in 2018. Its elegant and sporty design, advanced technology and superior performance have made it a popular choice among car enthusiasts. The Giulia comes with a choice of three powerful engines, including a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, a 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine, all paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

This latest award from Auto Motor und Sport is a testament to the enduring popularity of the Alfa Romeo Giulia, and its continued success in the highly competitive midsize import category.
