Mogaila’s BMW collided with a Hyundai carrying the young girl, her mother, and a 13-year-old boy. The mother and boy sustained serious injuries and were taken to the hospital. Mogaila fled the scene initially but later turned himself in at Rabie Ridge police station.

Hours before the crash, Mogaila had played with Sekhukhune United in their match against Richards Bay. Known for his dedication, Mogaila previously balanced his soccer career with university studies. Now, he faces charges of culpable homicide, reckless driving, and fleeing the scene of an accident. This incident highlights concerns about responsibility among public figures.
