– A total of 231 suspects were arrested for various offenses during station operations and routine policing activities.
– Tshwane detectives arrested 345 suspects during Operation Shanela in Bronkhorstspruit and Ekangala.
– Among those arrested, 253 suspects were detained for serious crimes such as murder, attempted murder, gender-based violence, housebreaking, theft, and rape.

– Officers conducted patrols in the Bronkhorstspruit and Ekangala areas and set up a roadblock.
– Compliance inspections on 41 liquor premises revealed two establishments were non-compliant with liquor regulations.
– 51 undocumented immigrants were detained for deportation pending legal proceedings, and two employers were arrested for hiring illegal immigrants.

Search and Arrest Statistics:
– A total of 860 individuals, 73 premises, and 479 vehicles were searched.
– Three vehicles underwent testing to determine if they had been reported stolen, leading to arrests for possession of illegal ammunition and drug-related offenses.
– The operations also resulted in the arrest of 20 individuals for driving under the influence of alcohol and one for violating the Gambling Act.
– Additionally, 38 fines totaling R23,500 were issued, and three vehicles were impounded for non-compliance with the Road Traffic Act.
