Kenton Primary learners win at reading competition
Grade Three learners from Kenton Primary School demonstrated exceptional talent and determination at the recent Spellathon and English Reading Competition within the district. Participating against a variety of schools, students from Kenton Primary achieved first and third places in this esteemed competition.
The event highlighted the linguistic abilities of participants spanning different age groups. Lukho Tapfumaneyi claimed the top spot in English reading, showcasing fluency and adept spelling skills. Tlhase Tsotetsi, another student from the school, secured third place in the spelling segment.
The school commends these learners and their teacher, Deth Birch, for their outstanding performance and for securing the title.
