Sundowners Hosts Family Day Event, Kids Carnival
Sundowners restaurant in Alberton recently organized a family day event known as the Kids Carnival, aimed at bringing families together for a day of enjoyment under the sun.
Five years ago, owners Ryan Donavan and Ryan Labuschagne took over Sundowners and transformed it into a live music venue, creating a family-friendly atmosphere within the restaurant.
The Kids Carnival catered to children with a variety of adventurous activities, including a mechanical bull, bungee jumping, rock climbing, a petting zoo, jumping castles, and water slides.
Local food trucks from the surrounding areas offered a diverse selection of delicious food, highlighting the support for local businesses.
Ryan Donavan expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the Kids Carnival, stating, “We saw an opportunity to provide a day of joy for children, and the carnival concept was highly appealing. Our investment was aimed at ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees while also promoting local businesses. We anticipate making this event an annual tradition at Sundowners.”
