A new class of women of wonder awarded in Sandton
The Women of Wonder Awards marked their 10th annual ceremony, organized by Panache International, at the prestigious Maslow Hotel in Sandton on September 21. The event honored thirty women from various professional backgrounds for their outstanding achievements and inspirational impact within their respective fields.
Hosted by philanthropist and previous award recipient Catherine Constantinides, each awardee was presented with skills development vouchers worth R1,500, spa vouchers, and plaques recognizing them as Women of Wonder. Panache International CEO, Farzana Mayet, highlighted the awards’ role in fostering a supportive network of empowered women who can collaborate and uplift each other.
Yaseen Valli, the chairman of the Women of Wonder Awards, commended each recipient for their selection from a pool of numerous nominations. Reflecting on the event’s evolution, Valli expressed pride in the significant growth of the awards ceremony from its modest beginnings to a distinguished platform that now honors some of the country’s most influential women.
