Verrassing vir jong man op sy sestiende verjaarsdag
WAS Foundation (We’re Against Starvation) in Alberton requested assistance from Solidariteit Helpende Hand to grant a boy’s birthday wish.
His wish for his 16th birthday was food for his family – just that.
Pick n Pay Steeledale always has an open hand, and the staff promptly took action, following protocols and putting together a significant donation.
The entire family was spoiled with groceries and extra treats for the young sister and also for the grandfather.
“Solidariteit Helpende Hand Alberton and our sister branch in Germiston, which assisted with transportation to and from the residence, thank Pick n Pay Steeldale for this outreach. You have once again brought hope to this family,” said Johan Olivier of Solidariteit Helpende Hand Alberton.
