Sebokeng Hospital praised for rare successful brain surgery

Published

on

After 40 years, Sebokeng Hospital has successfully performed brain surgery on two patients with subdural haematomas. Previously, patients requiring brain surgery were referred to another hospital, which resulted in some patients passing away due to the lack of immediate neurosurgical intervention as reported by Briefly.

The establishment of a neurosurgery unit at Sebokeng Hospital means patients can receive this critical service, which will significantly improve healthcare in the area, according to Gauteng Health Spokesperson Motalatale Modiba.
