Defence in the Meyiwa trial

The defence in the Meyiwa trial accuses the State of dishonesty regarding document provision. According to Jacaranda FM, the High Court in Pretoria adjourned the trial on Tuesday to allow the defence time to review the documents provided by the State.

Defence counsel Advocate Zandile Mshololo likened the State’s failure to provide the requested documents to an ambush. She expressed frustration, stating, “This is a trial by ambush, my Lord,” to Judge Ratha Mokgoatlheng.
